About Save decatur schools

Save Decatur Schools is a group of CSD parents and City of Decatur community members who came together after learning the CSD Board was exploring a K–2 school closure.

We’ve spent countless hours reviewing public data—from the CSD website to research articles—to understand the facts and develop solutions that keep our schools open. We’ve also met with CSD board members and leaders in the community to gather their perspective.

We believe a strong community keeps all schools open, and that families deserve transparency and a real say in the process.
